1.get ideas from the bride. If you know what the brides has in mind looking a short dress and she wants everyone in long dresses will be a waste of time.
2.know the colors, ask the bride to give you a few colors you can choose from. Know if there are any fabrics to stay away from. example if the bride is wearing a full lace dress, does she want you to stay away from lace.
